Temperature of bean>100℃
Color of green bean change from light yellow to green; bean become dehydrated, and have smell of roasted toast.
Temperature of bean >120~130℃
Color of green bean change from green to brown.
Temperature of bean proximally 150℃
Coffee bean has smell like burning hey.
Temperature of bean proximally 180℃
The ignition-caused smoke releases amount of carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide. The coffee beans’ color will turn grown and become bigger.
Temperature between 180℃~ 270℃
Coffee beans turned to darker color while temperature were rise. The heat triggering the coffee beans to release it’s aroma from within, and the coffee bean expend it’s size.
Temperature of bean proximally 270℃
The steamy smoke from the coffee bean decreasing, the color of coffee bean turned to dark and dull, and the size of the beans stop expending.
Temperature of bean proximally 300℃
The coffee bean turned to black,fragile,no aroma, and carbonize.
Practical range of roasting
temperature of coffee bean
When range of roasting temperature of coffee bean between 210~230℃ it is acceptable for most of coffee drinker.
Range of roasting temperature of coffee bean above 230℃,
it's over roasting.
